The Whole Story Savory Hub
Why a Savory Hub?
Land stewards in Aotearoa, New Zealand, face a complex array of challenges that impact their ability to maintain sustainable and profitable agricultural practices. These challenges range from environmental degradation to regulatory pressures and changing climatic conditions.
The Savory Institute was founded in 2009, with the aim of helping farmers around the world adopt, commit, and build on holistic, sustainable practices.

Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV)
Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) is an outcome-based monitoring protocol for grassland environments. Currently deployed on over 6 million acres globally, EOV evaluates both leading and lagging indicators to give you a holistic assessment of ecosystem function.
In simple terms, EOV runs through a series of 15 markers yearly in predetermined sites across your farm, and comprehensive ‘Long Term Monitoring’ every five years. This allows us to understand the overall trends happening on your property and can give you access to the Land to Market certification.
Holistic Management
The power to regenerate lands and livelihoods lies not in our practices but in how we manage the ecological, financial, and social dynamics. More than just a grazing system, Holistic Management is a framework for making decisions amidst the ever-changing conditions of the living world.
Holistic management helps us to help you when it comes to financial planning, land planning, ecological monitoring and planned grazing. By creating decison making frameworks and planning procedures with you,
